Inclusive Web Experience
Accessibility Statement.
Search House is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of this website so that more people can access our content, understand our services, and interact with Search House effectively.

Building a more accessible Search House
Search House believes websites should be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies or interact with websites in different ways.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of website design, development, content creation, and maintenance rather than as a one-time project.
As the Search House website changes, we aim to consider accessibility when creating new pages, updating existing content, adding interactive features, and making technical improvements.
Our accessibility target
Search House uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as an important reference for improving the accessibility of this website.
Our current accessibility target is to work toward the principles and applicable success criteria of WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the website continues to develop.
Accessibility requirements and standards may also differ depending on applicable law, organizational size, website functionality, and other circumstances.
Accessibility practices we consider
As Search House develops and maintains the website, accessibility considerations may include areas such as:
Navigation
Keyboard access
Designing navigation, links, buttons, forms, and interactive controls so they can be used without relying exclusively on a mouse.
Visibility
Colour & contrast
Using readable text, visible interactive states, and sufficient visual distinction between content, controls, and backgrounds.
Structure
Clear page hierarchy
Using meaningful headings, page structure, labels, landmarks, and content organization to make pages easier to understand and navigate.
Interaction
Visible focus states
Providing visual feedback when links, buttons, menus, form fields, and other interactive elements receive keyboard focus.
Content
Understandable copy
Organizing information using descriptive headings, readable language, meaningful link text, and predictable page structures.
Devices
Responsive layouts
Designing pages to remain usable across desktop, tablet, mobile, zoomed, and differently sized viewing environments.
Testing & ongoing improvement
Search House may review the website using a combination of manual checks, browser tools, automated accessibility testing, responsive testing, keyboard navigation, and other evaluation methods.
Automated accessibility tools can be useful for identifying certain technical issues, but they cannot identify every accessibility barrier. Accessibility therefore requires ongoing review and human judgment as well.
When accessibility issues are identified, Search House aims to prioritize reasonable improvements based on their impact, severity, technical feasibility, and the parts of the website affected.
Known & potential limitations
Search House is continuing to develop and improve this website. Despite our efforts, some pages, components, content, or interactions may contain accessibility barriers that have not yet been identified or fully resolved.
Accessibility may also be affected by browser differences, assistive technology compatibility, WordPress functionality, plugins, embedded content, third-party services, and other technologies that Search House does not completely control.
Third-party content & tools
The Search House website may use or link to third-party technologies, platforms, plugins, embedded content, forms, analytics tools, social platforms, maps, videos, or other external services.
Search House may not have complete control over the accessibility of content or interfaces provided directly by third parties.
Where reasonably possible, we aim to select, configure, or use third-party technologies in ways that support an accessible experience.
Third-party websites reached through external links are governed by their own accessibility practices and policies.
Accessible or alternative formats
If you are unable to access information on the Search House website because of an accessibility barrier, contact us and explain what information you need and the difficulty you encountered.
Where reasonably possible, Search House will work with you to provide the information in another accessible format or through an appropriate communication method.
The time required to provide an alternative format may depend on the nature of the content, the format requested, and the technical work required.
Report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier while using the Search House website, have difficulty accessing content, or have a suggestion for improving accessibility, please contact us.
Accessibility Feedback · Search House
When contacting us, it helps to include the page or feature you were using, a description of the accessibility issue, and any assistive technology or browser information you are comfortable providing.
Report an Accessibility IssueWhat happens next
Search House will review accessibility feedback in good faith and, where appropriate, investigate the reported issue and consider reasonable corrective action.
Some accessibility fixes may require changes to website code, WordPress components, plugins, or third-party services and may therefore take longer to implement than others.
Changes to this statement
Search House may update this Accessibility Statement as the website changes, accessibility improvements are made, new technologies are introduced, or accessibility practices and standards evolve.
The current version will be posted on this page. When material changes are made, the “Last updated” date near the top of the page will be revised.
